Suman 33 los casos de personas con A H1N1
Las personas con la gripe A H1N1 ascendieron este jueves a 33, luego de que la Secretaría de Estado de Salud Pública y Asistencia Social (SESPAS) confirmó otros diez nuevos casos correspondientes al Distrito Nacional y las provincias Santo Domingo, La Altagracia y Samaná. Las autoridades sanitarias han dispuesto extremar el control de infecciones y el uso de mascarillas en los establecimientos de salud de todo el país. De los referidos casos, seis se registraron en el Distrito Nacional, tres en la provincia Santo Domingo, uno en La Altagracia y el restante en Samaná. Actualmente, además de la capital, son cinco las provincias en las que se han registrado caso de la enfermedad.
De las confirmaciones de personas con A H1N1, 20 de las 33, equivalente al 60 por ciento, son menores de 15 años y han presentado un cuatro clínico leve.
La Dirección General de Epidemiología de esa cartera señaló a través del Boletín número 4, que todas esas personas se encuentran en sus respectivos hogares bajo el debido control epidemiológico.
Agrega que el número de casos procesados en el laboratorio instalado en la Ciudad Sanitaria “Luis Eduardo Aybar” fue de 75 sospechosos procedentes de diferentes puntos del territorio nacional.
De la totalidad de los casos registrados, 24 corresponden al Distrito Nacional, cuatro, provincia Santo Domingo; y Santiago, Monte Planta, La Altagracia, Samana y Peravia, uno en cada una de esas demarcaciones.
La SESPAS mantiene el llamado a la población a que siga las recomendaciones para la prevención de la gripe A H1N1, así como a mantener la calma.
